The marking and alignment template has been specially developed for the fast, error-free installation of electrical installation boxes and the associated inserts in drywall. It can also be used in masonry. The stencil has edge dimensions of 71 mm as well as corresponding markings and allows the correct distances between two installation boxes during initial or expansion installations. A corresponding edge measurement is also available for the necessary distance of 91 mm between sockets and TV or network sockets. With the dragonfly, you can reliably align the template, so that you can accurately mark drilling positions. The template also supports you in the later alignment of the installation boxes and inserts, so that the exact positioning is successful. In order to facilitate controlled alignment and convenient screwing of the hollow wall box in the hole, the clever helper is equipped with two hole holders. In these place the screw heads of the hollow wall sockets and thus ensure a temporary connection – align, screw and you’re done. After attaching the cavity wall box, the usable metal stop is used. In combination with the magnetic back of the template, you can easily align metal socket or switch inserts correctly and then screw them. The stencil also offers solutions for country-specific differences in the standardised design of the socket inserts.
