Convenient, Portable & Effective

LOCTITE® 243 ® is a general purpose threadlocker that provides a medium strength bond. This product works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces. It is proven to be tolerant of minor contamination due to industrial oils, e.g., motor oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluid. Perfect for temperatures between -65°F – 360°F (-54°C – 182°C).

STEADFAST ADHESION

LOCTITE® 243® is designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners which require normal disassembly with standard hand tools. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Suitable for applications on less active substrates such as plated surfaces, where disassembly with hand tools is required for servicing.
