Description

Originally designed for agricultural T Posts these finial caps can cover the sharp-edged ends of T Posts, U Posts, ¾” and larger rebar, many styles of tent stakes, surveyor’s monuments, ½” pipe and many other sharp end hazards. While a 3 or 4’ T or U post represents a danger to pets and children a 6-8’ post can be a danger to horses and livestock. These all need some type of end treatment to reduce the risk of serious injury. Fencing, Grading, Surveying, and Construction projects frequently require that posts, rebar, and stakes be driven into the ground to establish reference points. Tent stakes and similar applications for stakes are usually shin high and present their own hazard. The ends of these can represent impalement hazards to children, people, pets, and animals. Although not a perfect solution, Safety Caps such as Tech Team’s post safety caps can mitigate the hazard. For agricultural use Tech Team’s safety cap also has a vertical slot / clip for supporting hot electric wire or tape / ribbon. Since the cap is non-conductive plastic it is a perfect insulator. This retainer clasp can also be used to support or hold various types of temporary danger and warning tape at job sites or crime scenes. The t post caps are made from bright safety orange plastic for high visibility. Installation is simple and tool free. Includes fifteen (15) t post caps.
