    Quite happy with this splitter. Was a bit fiddly to put together and instructions were lacking. Once together, it works great. Used it on some pretty wet cottonwood and it broke it right up.

    I was not sure about buying this, the price was lower than all of the used log splitters on FB market place. But I look at reviews on YouTube and it looked good so I bought it. It was easy to assemble, I watched the YouTube assembly video, it took about 20 minutes to put together. Then I had to go get the motor oil and hydraulic fluid for it, they are not supplied. I added the fluids and some gas and it started on the first pull. I split about 12, 10” to 12” logs with ease. It take 8 seconds to complete a split and the machines went through the logs with no problems. It will split up to an 20” long log as it is a small bed machine. 16” is a standard fire place log. I would definitely recommend this log splitter, if you are looking for something small that will do the job.
