Description

IDL Packaging offers 1/2-inch x 200 feet polypropylene (PP) strapping with 600 lbs break strength. Comes in a self-dispensed box. The main advantages of poly strapping are affordability, durability, and a variety of applications. Poly strapping is the most economical strapping material available (compared to steel or cord strapping).

Mini PP (poly) strapping is light and portable and ideal for remote or occasional strapping jobs. Strapping is the same that comes in big rolls 9000 feet (300 lbs break strength) or 7200 feet (600 lbs break strength), rewound for ease of use.

Black poly strapping has an embossed surface that increases joint efficiency when 1/2-inch open seals for poly banding are used to seal two ends of the strapping.

Polypropylene banding is softer than Polyester and can be used with plastic or metal wire buckles. However, we always recommend using metal seals if the tension is greater than 50lbs.

Polypropylene strapping is lightweight and can be used for a variety of bundling applications. Poly strapping can be heat-sealed with a joint efficiency of 70 to 80%. By nature, polypropylene strapping is very flexible and has the ability to mold to odd-shaped or irregularly shaped packages.
