I have several of these doors now, and they work great so far. I will be buying a couple more soon. Just keep an eye on battery levels and it does great. I like these because the solar is hit and miss where some of my coops are set up. Shipping was fast, one package was lost and I was refunded quickly and easily.

Love this door. Purchased 2 of them, I feel they are much safer than the door that comes down. These doors open to the sid e of the coop.
I do like that they are your standard plug-in, and they have a battery back up which takes 4 AA batteries or 1 9V.
You can purchase a solar panel from Ama.. and set it up to use solar/battery backup.
Unit is very sturdy and solid, doorway is smaller than I expected, but the door itself is sturdy to keep predators out. Ships from Amazon. Great door will purchase again.
