Description

Invented by Festool in 1964, their groundbreaking Guide Rail System has evolved once again with the addition of the FS 1400/2-KP Guide Rail with Adhesive Pads. Whether carrying out horizontal work on floors or work surfaces, or even applications on walls, the Adhesive Pads can be used to securely attach the guide rail on a variety of surfaces, even in difficult positions, for precise cuts without slipping. The adhesive pads are quick and easy to install in the guide rail cut-outs. Align the guide rail, press down the adhesive pads, and you’re ready to start working. When you are done, they are just as easy to remove, without leaving unwanted residue and without damaging surfaces, even delicate ones. The incorporation of a long slot in the middle of the rails makes it possible to carry one or more rails on top of a Systainer with ease, simply by slipping the Systainer carrying handle up through it. Innovative new accessories, such as the Angle Stop and Guide Rail Extension bring even more versatility to this new design. And, all of the previous generation’s great features remain, including: – A splinter guard right at the scribe mark that prevents the edges from splintering even with beveled cuts – An adhesive cushion strip that helps protect the work piece surface from being damaged – Connectivity to previous generations of guide rails for long, straight, precision cuts 577043 Guide Rail FS 1400/2-KP Includes: one (1) 55” Guide Rail; and one package of 30 Adhesive Pads. Additional Pads available separately. Made in Germany.
